Iranian negotiation team advisor reveals details of proposed memorandum of understanding

According to Iran's Fars News Agency on the 14th, Mehdi Mohammadi, the strategic advisor to the head of the Iranian negotiation team, disclosed some details of the proposed Memorandum of Understanding between Iran and the United States. These details involve ceasefire arrangements, asset unfreezing, sanctions relief, and subsequent negotiations on the nuclear issue.

The report stated that the first point is cessation of conflict and security guarantees. This requires a comprehensive halt to military operations against Iran and Lebanon, and the prevention of any new military actions. At the same time, the US side must provide the necessary assurances to prevent the recurrence of tensions;

Second, the process of unfreezing some of Iran's frozen assets and suspending some economic restrictions and sanctions will be initiated to create conditions for expanding economic exchanges and oil sales;

Third, the lifting of maritime and trade restrictions to restore normal conditions for Iran's maritime trade, facilitate the passage of Iranian merchant ships, reduce maritime restrictions, and eliminate existing obstacles on international transport routes. (Xinhua News Agency)
