Ripple promotes XRP and RLUSD into the x402 payment system, but has not yet disclosed enterprise-scale adoption customers

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Ripple is attempting to introduce XRP and its stablecoin Ripple USD into the AI agent payment market, aiming to enter the on-chain micropayment space currently dominated by the dollar stablecoin USD Coin. It has recently released the "XRPL AI Starter Kit," providing developers with a toolkit to build AI agent payment capabilities, enabling agents to complete payments, query balances, and perform wallet operations on the XRP Ledger, while supporting automated payment workflows based on the x402 protocol.

However, Ripple has not yet disclosed any enterprise-scale adoption customers or real-world production-grade AI agent payment transaction data. The solution remains in the early exploratory phase of infrastructure and developer ecosystem development. (CoinDesk)
