According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA): Based on a memorandum of understanding with the United States, Iran has not made any commitments regarding the transfer of management rights over the Strait of Hormuz. The future management of the strait will be addressed as a regional matter through dialogue and joint decision-making between Iran and Oman.

Iran's Foreign Ministry stated that the framework text is near finalization and awaits a final decision. (Jinshi)
