Odaily reported that during early Asia-Pacific trading on Monday, WTI crude oil futures rose 2.98% to $93.235 per barrel. U.S. stock index futures generally declined, with Dow Jones futures down 0.46%, S&P 500 futures down 0.50%, and Nasdaq 100 futures down 0.62%. On the news front, following a ceasefire between the U.S., Israel, and Iran on April 8, Iran launched missiles at Israel again after a two-month hiatus. Trump stated that his advice to Iran, now that missiles have been launched, is to return to the negotiating table and reach an agreement. Trump also said he would call Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to advise him not to retaliate.
