Russia could open up to 1 million crypto accounts within a year

Odaily Odaily reports that Aleksey Korolenko, Executive Director of Cifra Markets, said in an interview on the eve of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum that after the relevant bill is passed and takes effect, the number of crypto accounts opened by investors is expected to grow significantly. If large financial institutions launch convenient customer solutions, Russia could open up to 1 million crypto accounts within the first year under the compliance framework. (tass)
