Japanese and South Korean stock markets opened higher

Odaily reports, according to Gate data, South Korea's KOSPI index touched the 8,400-point mark, up 2.64% intraday. Japan's Nikkei 225 index broke through the 65,000-point level, up 0.72% intraday.
