Odaily reported that according to Al Arabiya, a draft agreement between the U.S. and Iran has been reached. The draft agreement allows for the free opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the removal of naval mines; navigation through the Strait of Hormuz needs to be restored within 30 days. The agreement stipulates that the U.S. commits to easing the blockade on Iranian ports; it allows Iran to sell and export oil; it will provide specific sanctions exemptions for Iranian oil exports. The easing of sanctions on Iranian oil will be considered in phases, depending on Iran's implementation of its commitments.
