Iranian media refutes US media reports on proposed US-Iran agreement, calling them merely US rhetoric

Odaily Odaily reports that according to Iran's Mehr News Agency, an informed source has denied reports by the US media outlet Axios regarding the content of a proposed memorandum of understanding between Iran and the US, stating that these claims only represent the US side's rhetoric and cannot be confirmed by the Iranian side.

Earlier, Axios reported that the proposed agreement includes extending the ceasefire between the two sides by 60 days, reopening the Strait of Hormuz without collecting tolls, and having Iran clear mines within the strait.
