Coinbase CEO has cashed out approximately $550 million through COIN sales over the past year

According to the OpenInsider tracking system, since May 2025, Coinbase co-founder and CEO Brian Armstrong has sold over 1.5 million COIN shares, with total proceeds amounting to approximately $550 million.

Previously, Coinbase announced its Q1 2026 earnings report today, posting a net loss of $394 million for the quarter, with total revenue declining to $1.41 billion.
