Trump: Doesn’t care whether Powell remains as a Fed governor

Meanwhile, Kevin Warsh is expected to secure full Senate approval before Powell’s term ends, and Powell’s continued presence could complicate Trump’s efforts to reshape the Fed. When asked whether he plans to take any action regarding Powell’s decision to remain as a governor, Trump replied, "No, I don't care if he stays. I just want to make sure Kevin can take that position."
