Bitget Empowers Women in Web3 Across Emerging Markets like the Philippines Through the Blockchain4Her Initiative
Odaily Odaily reports that Bitget is advancing Web3 education and community building for women in emerging markets such as the Philippines through its Blockchain4Her initiative. The program focuses on providing women and youth with a systematic framework of blockchain knowledge, helping them participate in the long-term development of Web3 with solid understanding and gain more substantial opportunities within the industry.
To achieve this goal, Blockchain4Her has supported several grassroots initiatives led by local women advocates. These include: transforming blockchain technology into tangible development opportunities for underserved communities; developing the Young Learners' Encyclopedia, a dedicated learning resource for youth; and establishing learning communities focused on risk control and trading discipline. These efforts not only help local beginners avoid misinformation and build a rational understanding of Web3 but also align closely with Bitget's global collaboration with UNICEF to普及 digital skills and blockchain education worldwide.
Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget and founder of Blockchain4Her, stated, "Our original intention is to create a more equal and open environment for women to explore Web3. Seeing more and more outstanding women dedicating themselves to community building shows us how true industry inclusivity can take root from the grassroots level."
