JPMorgan Executive: Tokenization Will Transform ETFs and the Entire Fund Industry, but Good Use Cases Are Still Years Away

Odaily reports that Ciarán Fitzpatrick, Global Head of ETF Product at JPMorgan Securities Services, said: "We believe tokenization will certainly drive market changes, not only for ETFs but for the entire fund industry." Fitzpatrick noted that given the many potential benefits tokenization could bring—such as easier subscription and redemption, "near-instant settlement," and uninterrupted access—experiments with ETF tokenization are still ongoing. He added: "I believe tokenization will become part of the ETF ecosystem, but we're still a few years away from seeing truly good use cases." (The Block)
