Hyperliquid Mainnet Launches "Priority Fees" Mechanism, Users Can Pay HYPE to Prioritize Data Reading or Order Writing

Odaily News Hyperliquid founder Jeff announced in the Discord channel that the Priority Fees mechanism is now live on the mainnet in Alpha mode. It includes Gossip Priority Fees (for prioritized data reading) and Order Priority Fees (for prioritized order writing), among others. For details, please refer to the official documentation.

Additionally, it's important to note that, based on user feedback, the upper limit for Order Priority Fees has been reduced from 20 bps to 8 bps. Currently, Order Priority Fees are only applicable to IOC orders on HIP-3 assets.
