Bahrain calls on the United Nations to pass a resolution to open the Strait of Hormuz by force

Odaily News Bahrain's Foreign Minister has called on the United Nations to pass a resolution authorizing the use of force to open the Strait of Hormuz to avert humanitarian and economic crises. The Bahraini Foreign Minister stated: "The draft does not seek to escalate the situation but aims to provide a framework to prevent further collapse of the international system by emphasizing the necessity of protecting freedom of navigation and transit and deterring further attacks."
