Reports: One crew member rescued from downed US fighter jet over Iran

Iranian authorities are also searching for the two crew members and have called on local civilians to assist in the search. This marks the first time a US military aircraft has been downed by enemy fire since the start of the war. Sources stated that both crew members successfully ejected after the F-15 fighter jet was struck by Iranian fire.
