An independent miner successfully mined Bitcoin block 943,411, securing approximately $210,000 in block rewards

2026-04-03 13:49

Odaily An independent Bitcoin miner using CKPool for solo mining successfully mined block #943,411 on Thursday, receiving a reward of approximately 3.139 BTC (including block subsidy and transaction fees), which is worth about $210,000 at current prices. Statistics show that solo mining remains a low-probability event. Over the past 12 months, solo mining pools have only mined 20 blocks, totaling about 62.96 BTC, with an average "win" occurring roughly every 18.7 days. The longest interval was 58 days, with the last recorded instance being on February 28.

This block was mined amidst intensifying mining competition. The Bitcoin network difficulty recently saw its largest downward adjustment since February (approximately -7.7%), followed by a roughly 3.87% increase within 24 hours. This reflects a temporary weakening of hashrate, which also briefly increased miners' probability of finding a block. (Cointelegraph)
