CoinShares to List on Nasdaq via SPAC Merger, Valued at $1.2 Billion
Odaily News: European crypto asset management firm CoinShares announced it will begin trading on Nasdaq this Wednesday under the ticker symbol CSHR, following a merger with Vine Hill Capital's Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC). The transaction was completed on Tuesday evening, with a total valuation of approximately $1.2 billion, including a $50 million investment from institutional investors.
Founded 12 years ago, CoinShares manages assets of around $6 billion, primarily serving institutional and retail investors with structured investment products and funds, including the US-listed CoinShares Bitcoin ETF. CEO and Co-founder Jean-Marie Mognetti stated that the company's AUM (Assets Under Management) in the US market is currently limited, and this listing will help rapidly expand its US market presence through equity financing.
