Aster Adjusts Token Economic Structure, Significantly Cuts Monthly Unlock Volume

Odaily News Aster posted on X platform, stating that Aster is restructuring its ecosystem emission mechanism. The original monthly ecosystem unlocks will be adjusted to a staking-only emission model to significantly reduce the amount of ASTER entering circulation each month. Previously, 78.4 million ASTER tokens were unlocked monthly according to a linear schedule, accounting for approximately 1% of the maximum supply. This mechanism has now been replaced. Ecosystem tokens will only be distributed as staking rewards, with the current distribution rate being 450,000 ASTER per week, equivalent to 1.8 million to 2.25 million ASTER per month. Since the TGE on September 17, 2025, all ecosystem and community tokens in Aster's (0x0A55...1EA4) public unlock addresses, aside from staking rewards, have remained untouched.
