U.S. Senator Demands Investigation into Bitmain's Security Risks and Ties to Trump Family

Odaily News U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren has sent a letter to Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, requesting information regarding potential national security risks associated with Bitmain and highlighting concerns over its business dealings with the Trump family. The letter demands the disclosure of communication records between Bitmain and Eric Trump as well as Donald Trump Jr.

Reports indicate that the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation is conducting an investigation codenamed "Operation Red Day" to assess whether related mining equipment poses risks of remote control. Previously, U.S. regulatory authorities have repeatedly raised concerns about the security of Bitmain's products.
