Nvidia-backed Reflection AI Raises Funding Target to $25 Billion, Valuation at $250 Billion
Odaily News Nvidia-backed AI startup Reflection has raised its funding target to $25 billion (previously $20 billion), with its valuation potentially rising to $250 billion (previously $200 billion). If achieved, this would become one of the largest funding rounds in the open-source AI field. The company was founded in 2024 by former Google DeepMind researchers Misha Laskin and Ioannis Antonoglou, headquartered in New York. It is dedicated to building a freely usable and customizable U.S. open-source AI model system, aiming to establish a technological network on Nvidia's chip ecosystem to compete with overseas rivals.
Informed sources revealed that JPMorgan Chase intends to participate in this funding round through its "Security and Resilience Program," and existing investor Disruptive is also expected to follow on with investment. (Techstartups)
