The DoD is currently rapidly integrating this technology into its combat operations. Deputy Secretary of Defense Steve Feinberg announced this policy decision in a letter to other defense officials. Feinberg stated that the designation as a "program of record" will facilitate the integration and application of the Maven system across all military branches.
