Odaily News F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun posted on the X platform regarding the controversy surrounding BIP-110, stating that Bitcoin should not be sanctified and criticizing some Bitcoin maximalists for hindering technological innovation.
He pointed out that some supporters label any attempts at scaling or functional improvements as "altcoin attacks," using moralistic accusations to cover up a lack of innovation, which has transformed Bitcoin from an economic concept into a system tinged with ideological overtones.
Wang Chun stated that in the context of the ongoing development of DeFi, privacy, and payment infrastructure, Bitcoin should not become a system that is "too rigid to evolve."
