Sam Altman-Backed World Launches AI Agent Identity Toolkit, Compatible with Coinbase x402 Protocol

Odaily News World, a Web3 identity solution backed by Sam Altman, announced today the launch of AgentKit, a developer toolkit for the x402 protocol. This toolkit allows users verified by World to authorize their World ID to AI agents, enabling these AI agents to prove they are "backed by a real human while protecting privacy" on websites and platforms. World ID is a set of cryptographic mechanisms that can verify a user's unique identity. Through AgentKit, a user's autonomous AI agent can demonstrate its authenticity to platforms when performing actions such as making payments or accessing services.
