Shandong Policewoman Uncovers Underground Banking Case Involving Virtual Currency, Identifies 12 Suspects and 6 Wallet Addresses

Odaily News On March 27, 2023, while investigating a telecommunications fraud case, the Dezhou Public Security Bureau in Shandong Province discovered a new criminal model involving "traditional underground banking + virtual currency" by tracking the flow of funds transaction by transaction. During the case analysis process, the police gradually mapped out the related capital network by analyzing account transfers and fund trajectories.

The investigation revealed that the police ultimately identified 12 main suspects, over 100 fund accounts, and 6 virtual currency wallet addresses.
