Gate for AI Upgrades CEX MCP, AI Agents Can Now Call Centralized Trading Capabilities

Odaily News: Cryptocurrency asset trading platform Gate announced that its AI Agent infrastructure, Gate for AI, has upgraded the CEX MCP module, enabling AI Agents to directly call the centralized trading capabilities of the exchange.

Through this interface, AI can not only obtain real-time market data such as spot and futures quotes, order book depth, K-lines, and funding rates but can also directly execute trading operations including placing, canceling, and modifying orders for spot and futures. Additionally, AI can query account balances, perform fund transfers, manage sub-accounts, and handle asset management functions like deposits and withdrawals.

All functions are accessible after authorization via a Gate account, allowing AI to securely execute trading operations while accessing market information. Currently, Gate for AI has established a comprehensive five-capability system covering CEX, DEX, wallet signing, real-time information, and on-chain data, enabling AI Agents to complete the entire process from market analysis to trade execution within the same framework.
