According to Gate data, U.S. and Brent crude oil prices experienced a sharp short-term drop. WTI crude oil once fell to $97.6 per barrel, breaking below the $100 per barrel threshold, and has now rebounded slightly to $99.4 per barrel, with its intraday gains narrowing to 8.5%. Brent crude oil continued to decline, dropping to $102.5 per barrel, with its intraday gains narrowing to 11%.
