Odaily News According to a post on X by Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) are discussing relocating to the same office building in Washington, D.C., but the two agencies will not merge. It is reported that this relocation plan has been under discussion since last year, and the move may not be implemented until 2027 at the earliest. The General Services Administration (GSA), the agency overseeing federal real estate, is also involved in the matter.
