GMX Responds to Concerns Over MegaETH Launch Progress: Contracts Deployed, Official Launch Date Pending

Odaily News In response to community concerns about the slow progress of the MegaETH launch, GMX issued a statement clarifying the situation. The statement explained that since the MegaETH mainnet went live in the second week of February, the ecosystem development is still in a gradual ramp-up phase. Currently, the on-chain TVL remains relatively limited, with most protocols still in the testing and optimization stage. GMX stated that its smart contracts have already been deployed on the chain. The team is advancing multiple preparatory tasks, including ensuring initial liquidity is in place, refining the liquidity provider (LP) incentive design for the GLV [USDM-USDM] vault, optimizing the trading user experience, and collaborating with DeFi protocols building on MegaETH to leverage composability advantages. However, an official launch date has not yet been determined. It is expected to follow up as soon as possible after MegaETH announces its next phase of ecosystem development plans.
