Iranian Official: New Generation Missiles to be Used to Strike US and Israeli Targets

Iran's Fars News Agency quoted the official as saying that Iran has been continuously assembling and producing missiles while simultaneously advancing the manufacturing of various missile systems. "It is expected that in the coming days, advanced and rarely used long-range missiles will be deployed for new types of attacks." The official stated that Iran had previously anticipated the war would last for some time and had mainly used missile models from over a decade ago in the past few days, "not yet deploying the new generation of missiles." The official did not disclose further details. According to multiple Iranian media reports on the 6th, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesperson Naeini said that Iran is equipping itself with new weapons but has not yet used them on a large scale, "the enemy should expect to suffer heavy blows in every wave of attacks."
