Perpetual Futures Exchange QFEX Completes $9.5 Million Seed Round Funding Led by Yuri Sagalov

According to an official announcement, perpetual futures exchange QFEX has completed a $9.5 million seed round of funding. The round was led by Yuri Sagalov of General Catalyst, with participation from Paul Graham, Y Combinator, and others. Other investors include institutions and angel investors such as Nexus Ventures, Moonfire Ventures, Goodwater Capital, Liquid2 Ventures, 468 Capital, and Ritual Ventures.

It is reported that the QFEX team consists of members from several top quantitative trading firms, including Citadel, Jump Trading, Optiver, Jane Street, Tower Research Capital, and Flow Traders.
