The round was led by cross-asset class electronic trading platform Tradeweb, with participation from DRW Venture Capital, Ripple, Virtu Financial, Wintermute Ventures, XTX Markets, and Illuminate Financial. The new funds will be used to enhance the technical architecture of the cryptocurrency electronic communication network CROSSx, expand global operations, deepen integration with institutional partners, and simultaneously promote the extension of Tradeweb's electronic trading standards into the cryptocurrency field.
