$24 Million aEthUSDC Stolen, User Claims Theft Involved Violent Threats
Odaily News: The user @sillytuna, who lost approximately $24 million worth of aEthUSDC in an address poisoning attack, stated that the theft process involved violence, weapons, threats of kidnapping and rape. He claimed to have been beaten and threatened with having his limbs severed.
According to PeckShield monitoring, the attack method was address poisoning. The relevant wallet of @sillytuna lost approximately $24 million worth of aEthUSDC. Around 20 million DAI is currently held in two intermediate wallets controlled by the attacker, not yet mixed. The attacker has begun bridging small amounts of funds to Arbitrum. @sillytuna has initiated a bounty, offering 10% of the recovered funds as a reward.
