IoTeX Launches Claims Portal, Clarifies Compensation Funds Not from IOTX Token Sales

Odaily News IoTeX has issued another update on the security incident following a suspected private key leak hack, announcing that the claims portal is now officially live. Users affected by the previous attack can now submit claims, and all impacted users will receive compensation. IoTeX stated that users with total affected assets not exceeding $10,000 will be compensated in stablecoins, covering over 90% of affected users. Users with total affected assets exceeding $10,000 will receive full compensation in phases and are eligible for additional rewards. IoTeX also clarified that the compensation funds are not sourced from the sale of IOTX tokens but from the foundation treasury (Bitcoin + stablecoins). Asset tracking and law enforcement efforts are ongoing, and all recovered stolen assets will be directly used for compensation.
