In response to what would happen if the U.S. government attempted to nationalize OpenAI or other AI projects, Sam Altman stated that he cannot predict the outcome. While it might be more appropriate for the government to lead the construction of AGI in the long run, based on the current development trajectory, nationalization is not highly likely. However, he emphasized that establishing a close cooperative relationship between the government and AI enterprises is "extremely important."
