Iraqi armed group claims attack on US military base

Odaily News: An armed group under the "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" issued a statement on March 1, stating that "in support of Iran's resistance against US and Israeli aggression and in defense of Iraq's national sovereignty," the group launched a drone attack on a US military base located in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region in northern Iraq. The group also issued a statement on February 28, claiming to have launched dozens of drones that day, carrying out 16 attacks on US military bases in Iraq and other parts of the Middle East.
