Shenyu: AI to Reshape Corporate Organizational Structure, Traditional SOP Model Faces Reconstruction
Odaily News Cobo co-founder and CEO Shenyu posted on social media, stating that the development of AI Agents will have a profound impact on corporate organizational structures. Its target of disruption is not individual skills, but rather the long-standing management system centered on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
He pointed out that traditional enterprises continuously layer SOPs to standardize human execution processes. However, if AI with autonomous planning capabilities is simply embedded into existing processes, it may lead to internal efficiency drains. In the future, enterprises may reconstruct their processes around "intent and boundaries" as the core, with humans setting goals and rules, AI responsible for autonomous optimization and execution, and humans taking on supervisory and decision-making roles.
Shenyu believes that as AI involvement increases, departmental barriers and middle-management supervisory functions may weaken, and organizational forms are expected to evolve towards more efficient dynamic collaboration models.
