Privacy Gaming Platform FOOM CASH Attacked on Base and Ethereum, Resulting in $2.26 Million Loss

According to GoPlus monitoring, the privacy gaming platform FOOM CASH was attacked on Base and Ethereum, resulting in a loss of 24,283,773,519,600 FOOM tokens (approximately $2.26 million).

The vulnerability exploited in this attack was due to a misconfiguration of the verification key. The attacker leveraged this vulnerability to forge a zkSNARK proof and subsequently extracted a massive amount of FOOM tokens from the compromised contract.
