Odaily News Stripe stated in its 2025 annual summary letter that the total transaction volume generated on its platform last year was $1.9 trillion, a 34% increase compared to 2024, accounting for approximately 1.6% of global GDP. Its programmable financial services directly or indirectly support over 5 million businesses, including numerous top AI companies, blue-chip companies representing 90% of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, tech companies accounting for 80% of the Nasdaq 100 Index, and about 25% of newly registered companies in Delaware (all created via Stripe Atlas). Link, as a simple online payment method, covers over 200 million users.
Furthermore, Stripe launched over 350 product updates throughout the year and completed two significant acquisitions: Privy, which supports programmable wallets for over 110 million users, and Metronome, which provides complex usage-based billing model support for companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, Confluent, and NVIDIA. The latter has been integrated into the platform's Revenue suite and is expected to achieve $1 billion in annual revenue this year.
The company also launched a claimable sandbox environment that can be used directly within AI development tools (such as Manus, Base44, Replit, Vercel), with over 100,000 sandboxes created cumulatively. The number of company registrations via Stripe Atlas increased by 41% year-over-year, with 20% of Atlas startups completing their first payment within 30 days.
