El Salvador Public Schools Upgrade Bitcoin Education Program

Odaily News El Salvador's National Bitcoin Office has launched a comprehensively revamped public education program called "Bitcoin Diploma 2.0." The first edition of the teaching materials has been printed and is scheduled for implementation within the public school system by 2026. This program is an upgrade from the previous "What is Money?" educational project. It strengthens the application of visual tools through animations and real-world cases to systematically introduce Bitcoin and financial concepts to students. Stacy Herbert, Director of the National Bitcoin Office, stated that the new teaching materials aim to solidify Salvadoran youth's understanding of the nature of money. The National Bitcoin Office recently opened a new teaching site in the town of Panchimalco and plans to continue expanding in the city of Apopa. (DL News)
