Robinhood: January Event Contract Trading Volume Reaches 3.4 Billion, Cryptocurrency Trading Volume Reaches $22.9 Billion
Odaily News Nasdaq-listed company Robinhood released its operational data for January 2026, disclosing that users, assets, and trading volume all maintained continuous growth. As of the end of January, the platform's total assets were $324 billion, a 1% increase month-over-month and a 59% increase year-over-year; equity notional trading volume was $227.3 billion, up 21% month-over-month and 57% year-over-year; cryptocurrency trading volume reached $22.9 billion, up 8% month-over-month and 12% year-over-year, with $8.7 billion traded on the Robinhood App and $14.2 billion traded on Bitstamp; event contract trading volume was 3 billion contracts, up 17% month-over-month. Robinhood also disclosed that as of February 17th this quarter, it has repurchased approximately 2.1 million Class A common shares, totaling about $173 million, which is more than double the number of shares repurchased in the fourth quarter of 2025.
