Moonwell: Recovery Plan Submitted to Governance Forum and Partial Compensation Initiated

Odaily News Following the approximately $1.78 million bad debt caused by an oracle configuration error, the DeFi lending protocol Moonwell provided an update on the incident handling via the X platform. It stated that the recovery plan has now been posted on the governance forum. This plan includes integrating the Moonwell Apollo (MFAM) community into the Moonwell ecosystem (WELL). The Moonwell Apollo Treasury will immediately initiate partial compensation, with ongoing compensation to be funded through protocol revenue in the future. Additionally, MFAM holders and stkWELL stakers are proposed to receive compensation at a 1:1.5 ratio (MFAM:stkWELL).
