Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon: Personally Holds "Extremely Small Amount" of Bitcoin
Odaily News: Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon revealed for the first time at the World Liberty Financial Forum held at Mar-a-Lago in Florida that he holds a "very small amount" of Bitcoin.
Solomon stated that he is still observing Bitcoin's market performance and described himself as not being a "great Bitcoin predictor." Over the past few years, he has consistently supported blockchain technology but has maintained a relatively cautious stance towards crypto assets overall. He has repeatedly characterized Bitcoin as a "speculative investment" while also acknowledging its potential as a "store of value."
He previously also pointed out that due to regulatory restrictions, Goldman Sachs cannot directly hold or participate in Bitcoin and other crypto assets on a proprietary basis. However, Solomon indicated that this situation has "begun to change recently."
