Intesa Sanpaolo Holds $96 Million in Bitcoin ETFs

Odaily News Intesa Sanpaolo's 13-F filing with the SEC reveals that as of the end of last year, the bank held $96 million worth of spot Bitcoin ETFs. This includes $72.6 million in the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF and $23.4 million in the iShares Bitcoin Trust. Intesa Sanpaolo SpA established a proprietary crypto trading desk within its corporate and investment banking division in 2023 and completed its first €1 million spot Bitcoin purchase last year. Furthermore, the bank holds $4.3 million in the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF and $184.6 million in put options for Strategy Inc. Its holdings also include shares in Circle Internet Group Inc., Robinhood Markets Inc., BitMine Immersion Technologies Inc., Coinbase Global Inc., and ETHZilla Corp.
