Polymarket's "Pikachu Illustrator Card Auction Price" Betting Event Concludes, Final Sale Price Exceeds $16 Million
Odaily News According to information from the Polymarket platform, the betting event "Logan Paul's Pikachu Illustrator Sale Price" has been settled with the outcome "final price over $16 million." This follows the official sale of the "PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator" card, hailed as the "Holy Grail" of Pokémon trading cards and owned by internet personality Logan Paul, for a staggering $16.492 million at the Goldin auction house.
It is reported that this auction price has set a new world record for trading card sales. Logan Paul originally purchased this card for $5.275 million in 2021. The card was illustrated in 1998 by Atsuko Nishida, the original designer of Pikachu, for a contest. It is believed that only a few dozen copies exist worldwide, and the one in this auction is the only version to have received a perfect PSA grade of 10.
