Metaplanet Releases 2025 Financial Report: Holds 35,100 Bitcoins, Aims to Control 1% of Global Supply by 2027

Odaily News: Japanese Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet announced its 2025 fiscal year financial results on platform X. The report disclosed that the company has become Japan's largest Bitcoin holder, possessing 35,102 Bitcoins as of the end of 2025, accounting for approximately 0.16% of the global Bitcoin supply. This positions it as the fourth-largest Bitcoin holder among public companies globally. The company plans to achieve the goal of holding 1% of the global Bitcoin supply by 2027 and will continue to rely on its "Bitcoin yield business" as the core driver for profit growth.

Furthermore, Metaplanet's revenue for the 2025 fiscal year reached 8.905 billion yen, a year-on-year increase of 738.3%; operating profit was 6.287 billion yen, a year-on-year increase of 1694.5%.
