Storing DKIM keys directly on-chain, XION announces the official launch of the DKIM module and ZK module

2026-02-12 00:18

Odaily News XION has announced the official launch of its DKIM module and ZK module. As a blockchain that stores DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) keys directly on-chain, XION is a consumer-grade L1 public chain that implements zero-knowledge verification at the protocol layer.

XION points out that existing email verification solutions (including projects like zkEmail) rely on centralized DNS servers to obtain encryption keys. When email service providers rotate their keys, old verifications become invalid, and there is no historical record to check. XION's DKIM module permanently stores these keys in the on-chain state, completely eliminating reliance on centralized DNS infrastructure. Its ZK module implements zero-knowledge proof verification at the protocol layer, achieving 10 times the efficiency of smart contract-based solutions. The two modules work together, enabling users to prove any information within an email without exposing the email itself.

XION states that currently, about 61% of employees who witness misconduct remain silent because traditional options are often "anonymous but ignored" or "speaking up but risking job loss." Leveraging the aforementioned infrastructure, XION has enabled various application scenarios, including:

Anonymous reporting and workplace reviews (proving employment status without exposing personal information)

Seedless wallet recovery (using email as a backup key)

Purchase behavior and certificate verification (without oversharing personal information)

Trust-minimized ticket resale and insurance claims, among others.

Currently, XION has over 800,000 monthly active users and has integrated with more than 150 brands, including Uber, Amazon, and BMW.
