Base App: Removes News Feed and Discontinues Creator Rewards Program, Will Focus on Tradable Assets

According to official news, the Base App news feed will now focus entirely on tradable assets starting today, removing the "Discussion" feed and replacing it with an on-chain activity feed. As part of this adjustment, the Base App will discontinue its "Creator Rewards Program." This program, which has distributed over $450,000 in rewards to 17,000 creators over the past six months, will end on February 15th, with final settlements completed by February 18th. Base App will subsequently announce new reward methods for the community.
