Bybit Co-CEO Helen Liu: Dubai's Regulatory Sandbox Becomes "Accelerator" for Web3 Globalization, RWA and Compliant Stablecoins Emerge as New Engines for Global Expansion
Odaily News Bybit Co-CEO and Group Partner Helen pointed out at the closed-door forum "Connecting Web3 Hubs: Hong Kong × Dubai" hosted by DMCC:
"Dubai's regulatory clarity, policy consistency, and innovative sandbox mechanisms have enabled Bybit to transform compliance into a core competitive advantage. Through in-depth collaboration with regulatory bodies such as VARA, the risk control standards we have established have been successfully replicated in European, African, and Latin American markets, particularly accelerating the implementation of compliant stablecoins and Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization—this is precisely the key pathway for the UAE-Hong Kong linkage to empower the global deployment of Asian capital."
As a prelude event to the 2026 Hong Kong Consensus Conference, this forum focused on asset tokenization and cross-border fintech collaboration. Helen emphasized that Dubai, as a Middle Eastern Web3 hub, is forming a dual-engine dynamic of "regulatory synergy + ecosystem complementarity" with Hong Kong, providing a replicable compliance model for Chinese institutions exploring the globalization of RWA.
