Yi Lihua and Garrett Jin used the same Binance deposit address

Odaily News According to Lookonchain monitoring, the address marked as "BTC OG insider whale" (Garrett Jin) starting with 0xcA0 used the same Binance deposit address as Trend Research under Yi Lihua.

On-chain data shows that the Trend Research address transferred 7.989 million USDT to an address starting with 0xcdF one day ago, which was subsequently transferred to a Binance hot wallet address starting with 0x28C. Garrett Jin transferred 10,000 ETH to an address starting with 0xcdF two hours ago, which was then transferred to a Binance hot wallet address starting with 0x28C.

Lookonchain did not provide further interpretation, but Binance deposit addresses are typically user-specific (especially for hot deposit addresses used frequently for large amounts). While the possibility of a "coincidence" or "address reuse" (e.g., through a common funding source/OTC channel) cannot be completely ruled out, under normal circumstances, the probability of two independent large holders/institutions using the exact same deposit address is extremely low.
