The initiative will collaborate with global cybersecurity, cryptographic security, and Bitcoin security committees to coordinate related research and risk response efforts.

Saylor stated that the current general consensus is that quantum threats are at least 10 years or more away from materializing, and many global teams are already developing quantum-resistant protocols. He emphasized that Bitcoin is upgradeable, and if a quantum upgrade becomes necessary in the future, its network will become more resilient as a result.
